Large Jellyfish Christmas Tree Ornament - White English Sea Glass Jellyfish - Beach House Coastal Ornament - Royal Sea Glass by Goofy Moose
These big jellyfish ornaments are made with a piece of white sea glass from England. They measure approximately 2 1/2 inches tall (including tentacles). They are made with non-tarnish silver artistic wire.
A grouping of these jellyfish would be an adorable display on a beach-themed Christmas tree!
Each ornament is made by hand and will be completely unique. The sizes listed are approximate and your ornament may vary by up to 1/4" of the listed size.
Each jellyfish is created when ordered, so you will not receive the jellyfish in the photos. You will receive one made especially for you! Yours will be similar in size and style to the one in the photos.
The inspiration for these jellyfish necklaces came from a display, in a cool, dark room in the Monaco Aquarium. I've shared a photo of it in this listing. When I saw this display, I was mesmerized by the gentle, graceful movements of the jellyfish and knew that I had to design something to remind me of that quiet moment.
WHAT COMES WITH MY ORNAMENT?
Your jellyfish ornament will be attached to a loop of ribbon for hanging. If you prefer to use a traditional hook, the ribbon can be easily cut off. No wire 'S" hook is provided with these ornaments. Your ornament will ship in a small organza bag or pillow box, perfect for gift giving. No price tags will be attached.

Beach glass and sea glass are different names for the same thing - people near oceans usually refer to the glass found on the beach as sea glass, while those of us near lakes call it beach glass. Sea pottery is created in the same way as beach/sea glass.
The action of the waves and the sand smooth the glass, just as sandpaper smooths the surface of wood. I only use authentic sea glass / beach glass in all of my jewelry.
I do my best to take pictures that represent the true color of the sea glass, and try to include pictures with various background colors to show how the glass appears in front of different colors. Due to monitor variations, colors may appear slightly different in real life. Please contact me if you are unhappy with your jewelry or feel that the color was misrepresented.

I am happy to discuss opportunities for placing my ornaments or sun catchers for sale in your shop. Please contact me via Etsy messages for more information.
If your jewelry or ornament darkens, and you don't like the look of patina (I love it!), it can be polished until it sparkles again.
Sometimes tarnish from metal can get onto the beach glass giving it a clouded or dirty look. A gentle scrub of a soft toothbrush with warm water and soap will clean it off.
Dry the piece (air dry or use a hairdryer) before polishing the wire.
Rub the metal surface with medium pressure. Non-scratching polishing & cleansing cloths work until the cloth is completely darkened. Polishing cloths can be found online or at local craft shops. I don't suggest using pastes or other chemicals to clean the metal of your pieces, because the chemicals could get into the tiny pores of sea glass and affect its appearance.
