Show your love with a handmade ornament this year. These hearts are made with copper wire and genuine beach glass, collected from the southern shores of Lake Michigan.
Choose the perfect size:
New Love (1 inch), Strong and Steady (1 1/2 inches) or LIfetime Commitment (2 inches) and colors that suit your style: white/clear, brown, white opaque pottery, or surprise mix
Since every heart is handmade, you will not receive any of the hearts in the photos. Instead, you will receive one that was made especially for you!

HOW DO I ORDER?
This listing is for ONE heart made with copper wire. The first photo (set of 5 hearts) was an order completed in November 2016.
Please select sea glass color from the drop down menu. They are available in 3 different sizes (1, 1 1/2, and 2 inches). If no options are chosen, you will receive a 1 inch heart made of copper wire with a piece of white Lake Michigan sea glass.
Each heart is made by hand and will be completely unique. The sizes listed are approximate and your heart may vary by up to 1/4" of the selected size.
Since each heart is unique, you will not receive the heart(s) pictured.
Your heart will be attached to a loop of ribbon for hanging. If you prefer to use a traditional hook, the ribbon can be easily cut off. No wire 'S" hook is provided with these ornaments. This heart could also be attached to a short length of elastic cord (not included) and used as a rear view mirror charm.
I use only authentic sea glass in all of my art and jewelry. If you are interested in a rarer color, or glass I've collected from France, California or England, please contact me. The price is higher for rarer colors (blue would start at $30, red at $40), and glass from other areas, but if I have any in stock I would be happy to work with you to create something special!
If you have a special stone or piece of glass that you would like incorporated into a heart, please message me.

CONSIGNMENT AND WHOLESALE INFORMATION
I am happy to discuss opportunities for placing my ornaments or sun catchers for sale in your shop. Please contact me via Etsy messages for more information.
If your jewelry or ornament darkens, and you don't like the look of patina (I love it!), it can be polished until it sparkles again.
Sometimes tarnish from metal can get onto the beach glass giving it a clouded or dirty look. A gentle scrub of a soft toothbrush with warm water and soap will clean it off.
Dry the piece (air dry or use a hairdryer) before polishing the wire.
Rub the metal surface with medium pressure. Non-scratching polishing & cleansing cloths work until the cloth is completely darkened. Polishing cloths can be found online or at local craft shops. I don't suggest using pastes or other chemicals to clean the metal of your pieces, because the chemicals could get into the tiny pores of sea glass and affect its appearance.

This is a beautiful ornament! I needed something very unique for a friend and this suppressed my expectations. The seller also packaged it in an adorable little box.
